Business
 
China visa application form. 
Passport. A current passport with validity of over 6 months beyond the date of application. 2 blank pages for visa issue.

2x Passport-type photograph: 
Business invitation letter from a Chinese organization. 

The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Chinese Embassy in London", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Applicant's FULL NAME, gender, date of birth and passport number
• Purpose of the visit to China
• Intended entry and exit dates to China
• Intended destination(s) in China
• Relationship with inviter
• Number of entries requested
• Source of finance for the trip
• Stamp of the organization (the stamp varies to the type of organisation you are visiting)
The signatory has to match their name ( if it is a Chinese name the signature should be signed in Chinese script. if its and English name , an English signature is acceptable. 

In order to prepare your online application form please upload a digital photograph on your elite application up load and we will upload it for you. 
Please set aside 30 minutes Prior to your submission to meet your envoy and go through the papers and for us to advise on procedures and embassy protocol. 

N.B. 
1-  If you hold duel nationality you are asked to supply both current passports  upon submission.
2- Applicants over 70 years old are excused biometric submission - also children under the ages of 14 .

Tourist

China visa application form. 
Original, signed United Kingdom passport. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 2 visa page clear 
2 x Passport-type photograph: 
Copy of ravel and visit  itinerary showing exact dates of travel from airline or travel agent. Please note if you are part of a larger group ( tour ) there is a different application process for groups ) that the number of entries on your visa will be based upon your itinerary and the group tours itinerary . 
Proof of accommodation.
Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay.

alternatively 
If visiting friends or family, you must provide letter of invitation from the host in China. The letter should be addressed to "The Chinese Embassy in London", and signed by the host. The personal invitation must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Applicant's FULL NAME, gender, date of birth and passport number
• Purpose of the visit to China
• Intended entry and exit dates to China
• Intended destination(s) in China
• Relationship with the host
• Source o
f financial for the trip• Number of entries requested
• Host's FULL NAME, address, contact details
You will also need to provide proof of the host's status in China. If they are a citizen of China, copy (both front and back side) of their CHINESE NATIONAL ID (Shen Fen Zheng), or, if they are not a citizen of China, copies of their Chinese residence permit and their national passport's information pages.

PU Letter. A copy of a PU letter issued by the Provincial Foreign Affairs office in China or relevant government authority in China authorizing issuance of a visa.

Please note: If you are dual national it is mandatory to submit two original passports

Applicants over 70 years old do not need to submit their biometrics.

According to the July 20 announcement from the Civil Aviation Administration, the General Administration of Customs, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, all passengers who are flying from the United States to China must provide negative COVID-19 tests issued within three days before boarding, starting on September 15, 2020.

 

Group's 

Applications for groups of 5 or more applicants if trasvelling and touring on the same tour itinerary.

Photocopy of valid passport. Photocopy of all passport pages. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date the visa application.

Passport-type photograph. Must be uploaded to your applicant profile.

Flight Itinerary. The document attesting the travel booking of the whole group.

Hotel reservation. The document attesting the accommodation booking of all the stops for the whole group.
Group visa is only valid for entering through following airports:

• Canton
• Chengdu
• Hangzhou
• Pechino
• Shanghai

The Chinese Group E-Visa is valid for a 30 day stay and must be used within 15 days of issuance.

Work 

Original, signed United Kingdom passport. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 1 visa page clear of any markings.

Passport Photo: 1 Include a passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.

Letter of Invitation. An official letter of invitation approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China.

Permit for foreign workers. You must provide an Employment permit issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in China.

Supplementary Form. Applicants have to fill an additional form and include it along with the rest of the application.

PU Letter. A copy of a PU letter issued by the Provincial Foreign Affairs office in China or relevant government authority in China authorizing issuance of a visa.
